Methodology
AI Savings Guide recommends tools and tactics for saving money with AI, and estimates how much you might save. Here’s how we work.
How we estimate savings
Savings figures are ranges and typical estimates, not guarantees. We base them on published savings studies, vendor data, and hands-on testing, then present a realistic range per tactic. Your actual savings depend on your current spending and how consistently you apply each tactic. When we show a yearly total for a topic, it’s the sum of typical savings across that topic’s tactics for an average household.
How we choose tools
We prioritize reputable tools with clear privacy practices and a genuine free tier where possible. We describe what to check before granting account access, because saving money should never cost you your security.
Independence and disclosure
Some links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes which tools we recommend or the savings we report. See our editorial policy.
Not financial advice
Our content is general information, not personalized financial, tax, or legal advice. For decisions about debt, taxes, or investments, consult a qualified professional.
